So, I tried to come up with a New Year's themed outfit. I started with the shirt, but somehow it turned kind of steampunk-ish. I'd still wear it though :)
Night Time is the Right Time
I'd planned on taking pictures a little earlier in the day. But since finals are over, I've gotten infinitely lazier and by the time I worked up the energy, the sun was setting. Oh well! This is a typical outfit that I would wear on a shopping trip. As much as I love shopping, I hate having to go to the dressing room. Wearing a skirt makes trying on things a whole lot easier. And the boots are warm, but they unzip and are easy to take off if I'm trying on shoes. It's casual, comfy, and efficient.
P.S. My 21st birthday is in four days! I'm hoping that I can go to see the Lion King in New York. Fingers crossed!

I didn't notice that my dad had photobombed my picture until later. |
Watch Me
So, I've been wanting a Michael Kors watch for a while now. But maybe not for the Michael Kors price :) So the other day, I go shopping at Target and I see a rose gold watch that's quite similar to the MK one I wanted. And it was only $15 too. My lucky day.
Leatherette
I literally wear this jacket everyday. Even if I'm wearing a coat, I wear the jacket underneath. I got it at Forever21 three years ago, and to be honest, I can't believe it's actually lasted me this long, considering how much I've worn it.
Anywho, you've probably seen this dress on my blog before (back in the summer, when I was just starting out <3). It's got this sixties feel that I really love, so what better way to wear it than with some seventies Farrah Fawcett hair? ;)
Blue Lines and Hard Times
I love experimenting with different eyeliners. The one I'm wearing here is liquid eyeliner in a royal blue color (bought at Sephora) and it's so pretty and eye-catching.
In other news, guys, finals are coming up and you may not see me for a while because I'll bedying studying :)

Keeping it Old School
I love retro and vintage looks. Just an outfit can remind you a lot of different times. The makeup is inspired by Marilyn Monroe, although mine was done in about ten minutes and I'm sure her makeup regimen took a lot longer and paid a lot more attention to details.
Caped Crusader
I'd been hunting for a cape coat for ages, but most were either too thin or too expensive. I finally found this one at Charlotte Russe. Yay! When I wore this outfit at thanksgiving, my cousins said I looked like Sherlock Holmes. LOL
Family Ties
Originally, this post was going to be called "The Best Time to Wear a Striped Sweater," but alas, my brother and sister decided to join in on the picture taking :)
Gold Tones
I feel like my best outfits come about by accident. I was in a rush in the morning, but couldn't find any of my pants. And then I couldn't find my black flats. So, ta-da! The skirt and boot combo. I like it :)
Winter Re-Vamp: Bring Back the Shorts!
I love fall, really I do. But, I don't like having to put away my summer clothes. Especially these shorts I made. So I re-vamped it for the winter time. The outfits a little kooky, but so am I. And we could all use a little bit of kookiness to spice up those cold winter days, right?
