I confess: out of the 40+ heels that I have and wear frequently (yes, I am attending Shoe Hoarders Anonymous) these are the single. most. painful. pair. I. own. I wanted to amputate my feet with a butter knife the first day I wore them. I'm getting a charlie horse just looking at these pictures. But they're so gorgeous, I can't give them up.
The things we do for beauty, right?
These colors take me back to the many nights I spent in a black and gold marching band uniform on a football field. I think high school brainwashed me.
As you can see, my hair was a big mess of curls today. I embraced the hugeness though. It's a welcome change after more than a month of rocking waist-length braids. Anddd a big shout-out to my little bro-ski for taking my pictures today! He was a trooper, even when I called him back outside to take a picture of my shoes for the eighth time :)
I'm a little late but.... Happy Official Beginning of Summer, guys! This outfit just screams summer to me, so I thought the best place to stage some photos would be the forest foliage in my backyard. I love the brightness and was sorely tempted to rock my neon shoes instead of the nude ones. But it was probably just a little too much color and I didn't want to look like an edible arrangement.
Ta-ta for now! Enjoy the sounds of Summertime with Louis and Ella!
P.S. Blazer, shorts, and shirt are from H&M. I have a problem, I know.
I'll admit, I'm not usually a fan of Urban Outfitters. Or maybe it would be more accurate to say that my wallet isn't a fan. BUT...I do love these trousers and I caught them on sale.
P.S. Although I do love the brightly colored trend for this spring/summer, I also love its polar opposite: neutrals! So clean and pretty.
Also, the clutch belongs to my sister. She wanted me to make sure I distinguished that ;)
