Welcome to Part Two of my Sailor Series! (Click here if you missed Part One) If you follow me on twitter, then you know I've been dying to try pattern mixing, but that it's been another one of those things I've been afraid to try. No more! I decided to start off easy and pair two of my favorite patterns: sailor stripes and polka dots. I topped (or bottomed?) the outfit off with my favorite orange peep-toes and there you go! I think it kind of has a French flair. Or maybe a 20s flair? I'm starting to sound like I'm Jennifer Aniston in Office Space. Let me shut up.

I love the outfit! Especially the shoes! A wonderful pop of color! The ring also adds a wonderful touch! The outfit as a whole is simply adorable! You look great! :)
ReplyDeleteReally cute! I think the mixed patterns look nice together and the red heels really give it that Parisian vibe!
ReplyDeleteLovely mix, my dear :) And it has a bit of sailor style to it, which looks so great on you :) xoxo ♥
ReplyDeleteI am addicted to all things sailor. Don't even get me started haha.
DeleteThis outfit is very French-Nautical feeling to me, and I dig it. I love the unexpected pop of color from the orange shoes, too - the perfect "bottomer" for an outfit like this!
ReplyDeleteI used to be afraid of pattern mixing too - and when I actually gave it a shot, I learned that if you do it just right, no one will even realized you're mixing patterns because they flow together so well (like in this outfit). I definitely think you achieved that here!
Thanks Jennifer! I love to throw the orange shoes into pretty much every outfit I can manage it!
DeleteThis outfit is really nice:) I love the skirt.
