Makeup, Makeup on a Saturday Night

So these pictures weren't actually taken on a Saturday night. For those who weren't raised on Disney Channel in the early 2000s, the title comes from a Hilary Duff song. Not that you cared. Moving on...

One of my favorite things to do is put on makeup. There's something so fun about putting on mascara and eyeliner or experimenting with different looks. I get the same feeling from makeup that most people probably get from getting a massage or going to the spa.

Believe it or not, I was never ever ever this girly. While my cousins and sister were playing barbies and house, I was playing video games and basketball with the boys. I didn't even start wearing makeup until I was 18! How did this happen??

P.S. If you like the glimpses of my outfit in these pictures, come back tomorrow for more!

What's on my face:
Maybelline Falsies Mascara
Prestige Liquid Eyeliner
Maybelline Dream Smooth Mousse Foundation
L'Oreal Colour Riche in Blushing Berry

  1. Haha I was the same way as a kid, always rolling around in the dirt. That lipstick is a gorgeous color on you, and I love the warm red color of you walls!

  4. I love the ensemble! You look fabulous. And I shall stay true to my word (I've said this in another comment I've left you before) you really REALLY remind me of Tyra Banks. She's one of my idols and I think you bare a resemblance to her!

  5. It took me a while too! I was an awkward kid. I always wanted to wear makeup, though, and I never got it quite right. Oh, the memories...*shivers*

I've been wanting to try that falsies mascara! Do you recommend it?

  7. Love the look ;) and hey, it's totally cool to be a bit "boyish" as a child, we've both grown up well, right? :D Besides, boys seem to adore that you can play videogames with them and still manage to look like a lady when doing that ;)
