Darth Vader + Luke Skywalker

Now presenting.....the finale to my Star Wars-inspired series! If you'd like to the see other characters, click this link.

Darth Vader

Darth Vader is perhaps the most infamous villain in movie history. He's got a cool cape, a tough, cool exterior, and he also sounds curiously like Mufasa with a respiratory disorder.

Luke Skywalker

Luke Skywalker by lovecrys featuring a maxi skirt

Luke Skywalker hails from the desert planet of Tatooine, so a Luke-inspired outfit had to be loose, flowing, and boho-themed.

Which outfit is your fave?

How to take your button-up from ordinary to fabulous

Here's a simple way to turn a simple clothing item (a plain button-up shirt here) into a very stylish outfit. My outfit started out with this orange shirt and a pair of dark-wash jeans.

To spice it up, all I had to do was add a belt:

A collar necklace:

And a cute headband:

Voila! You have a casual, but still stylish outfit.

Gold Tones

I feel like my best outfits come about by accident. I was in a rush in the morning, but couldn't find any of my pants. And then I couldn't find my black flats. So, ta-da! The skirt and boot combo. I like it :)

Winter Re-Vamp: Bring Back the Shorts!

I love fall, really I do. But, I don't like having to put away my summer clothes. Especially these shorts I made. So I re-vamped it for the winter time. The outfits a little kooky, but so am I. And we could all use a little bit of kookiness to spice up those cold winter days, right?

Breaking the Rules

I always hear that you should never wear orange and black together for fear of looking like something Halloween threw up. But I don't care. I love the dress and I love the tights with it. Here's to breaking the rules!

Winter Re-Vamp: Mellow-Yellow

So for those of you who have been following my blog for a while, you might remember seeing this outfit already, but with just the skirt and the vest. But, throw in a long sleeve shirt and a pair of tights, and the outfit is perfect for winter time!

P.S. See if you can spot a hint of my cat, Riley in one of the pictures ;)

My Favorite Jeans

These are my most favoritest pair of jeans. I don't have to fold them up or scrunch them so that they fit me. It's hard being tiny.

Silent Sunday

I present to you: Silent Sunday! Enjoy the pictures without any commentary from yours truly!
Except for that blurb above, I guess....and also this one.
Well, Silent Sunday is a fail. Here's hoping for next week!

Party in the Front, Business in the Back?

So for this outfit I was inspired by....(insert drumroll) Janelle Monae! She's all about the menswear. I also love her hair, so I tried a little Crystin-Spin on it ;) If you'd like to see the inspiration for my hair/outfit, check out Janelle below.

Also, in case it is not obvious, the title of this post is a reference to my hair!

Black is Back!

I came across this outfit in a purely accidental way. I had to wear black and white since I sing on the choir at my church and all the dresses I tried on that morning were dysfunctional. So I reached into the annals of my closet and found this skirt that I have had since I was like eight (lol!). I found a black shirt to go with it and voila! A lovely ensemble!

Outfit: Autumn is here!

Autumn is my favorite season! I love the changing leaves and the apple cider and pumpkins and the movie Hocus Pocus! I've had a crazy week filled with two tests and long, long hours of clinical, but I got to reward myself today with a pumpkin spice latte from Starbucks ;)
Now how long is it til Thanksgiving???

Outfit: Rain, Rain, Go Away

I had a busy day filled with a long research class and a train ride to Philly for some errands. And since it was raining, I decided to break out my brand new leather boots. Love!
